The Mountaineers remain hot on the recruiting trail.
Morgantown, WV – Moments ago, Florida defensive back Chris Henry committed to play for the Mountaineers via Twitter.
First I want to thank God, and my coaches who supported me throughout this whole journey…i will be committing to WVU 🔵🟡‼️ @thecoachsutton @Showtime12u @Backendcoach12 @NealBrown_WVU @CraigHaubert @Andrew_Ivins @RyanWrightRNG @Rivals @247Sports @On3sports @ChadSimmons_ AGTG pic.twitter.com/PeyI6xO907

Henry, who has not received a rating from 247Sports, currently holds 7 offers – Kansas, Oregon State, and NC State among others.
Despite holding his name, he is not the son of former WVU receiver Chris Henry. Instead, Chris Henry Jr. is a WVU target for the 2026 class.
He becomes the 8th commitment in as many days for WVU.
