Former Marshall wide receiver EJ Horton announced via Twitter that he will be transferring to WVU to play for the Mountaineers on Sunday afternoon.

Horton, a Kentucky native, will have two seasons of eligibility remaining. Possessing incredible speed, he has been clocked with a 4.3-second 40-yard dash.

In three seasons with the Herd, Horton tallied 16 catches for 245 yards and two touchdowns.
After losing Jaylen Ellis to Colorado, Horton will be the speedster that the Mountaineers were lacking going into the 2023 season.
