Twitter account College Football Blue Bloods has projected WVU to finish 2nd in the Big 12.
Morgantown, WV – College Football Blue Bloods, a popular Twitter account, revealed their Big 12 projections for the 2023 season. To the surprise of everyone, their placement of the Mountaineers strongly contradicts the Big 12’s Preseason Poll.
College Football Big-12 Prediction (2023)
1 Texas Longhorns 10-2 (8-1)
2 West Virginia Mountaineers 9-3 (7-2)
3 Baylor Bears 9-3 (6-3)
4 Kansas Jayhawks 9-3 (6-3)
5 Kansas State Wildcats 7-5 (6-3)
6 BYU Cougars 7-5 (5-4)
7 Oklahoma Sooners 7-5 (4-5)
8 TCU Horned Frogs 7-5 (4-5)… pic.twitter.com/VuNn0dZQNT— College Football Blue Bloods (@bluebloodsbias) August 14, 2023
The account has WVU finishing 9-3 overall and 7-2 in Big 12 play. This is good enough for 2nd in the league, and an appearance in the Big 12 title game.
A finish this strong would certainly guarantee Neal Brown more time. While it is easier said than done, it is far from impossible, despite popular belief.
