WVU Signs Local Talent

West Virginia has had quite an impressive signing day. Headlined by the signing of 4-star prospect Rodney Gallagher, the Mountaineers will finish with one of the best classes in recent memory.

However, while everyone will look to the “big” recruits, WVU is no stranger to landing some diamonds in the rough.

Kamden Shallis, a linebacker from Martinsburg, West Virginia, signed with the Mountaineers earlier today.

Coming from a West Virginia high school, Shallis wasn’t recruited by many “big-name” programs. His other notable offers were from Presbyterian College and Division II University of Charleston. Though his name will not catch the eye of many fans, he will certainly be a player to look out for when he arrives in Morgantown.
