Earlier in the week, it was speculated whether or not Texas quarterback Quinn Ewers would start against West Virginia this weekend. Well, the final decision has finally been made.
According to Pete Thamel of ESPN, Ewers will not play today against the Mountaineers. Hudson Card will be the team’s first string quarterback.

This is huge for a West Virginia defense that has struggled against the pass at times this season.
