Morgantown, West Virginia – The situation in Houston has gone from bad to worse after the Houston Cougars moved to 2-3 on the season with a humiliating 27-24 overtime loss at home against the Tulane Green Wave.

Houston has now lost to Texas Tech, Kansas and Tulane, and only have wins over UTSA and Rice, and the on-the-field difficulties are causing major concerns with the Houston fanbase.

Many fans are frustrated with the team’s performance but also head coach Dana Holgorsen’s embarrassing sideline behavior. Holgorsen has exhibited extremely unprofessional behavior this season and last night, after the crowd booed him for kneeling on the ball rather than attempting to score late in the 4th quarter, Holgorsen shouted out at the crowd angrily, reportedly tell them to “shut the f*** up!”

Holgorsen is now officially on the hotseat after receiving an extension this past offseason and the heat will only continue to increase if Houston’s season doesn’t turn around quickly. The Cougars are back in action next weekend on the road against the 3-1 Memphis Tigers.
