Following the Suns’ 128-102 win over the Dallas Mavericks (moving them to 8-0 since the restart in the NBA bubble), Carter was announced as the recipient of the award. Carter, who the Defensive Player of the Year during his time at West Virginia, is known for his tenacious and relentless defense.
