WVU Interim Head Coach Josh Eilert has been ranked the worst in the Big 12 at his position.
Morgantown, WV – To say the Mountaineer Men’s Basketball program has been dealt a bad hand would be a gargantuan understatement. With depth issues, and a rough situation at the head coaching position, this is a team that many see as being a cellar-dweller in the Big 12 this season.
Unfortunately for Interim Head Coach Josh Eilert, much of this doubt has also been passed down to him.
According to College Basketball Report on X, Eilert will go into the season as the worst head coach in the Big 12 Conference.

While this may upset WVU fans, his lack of experience certainly justifies his place in this ranking. This does not mean that he will not prove everyone wrong and win the job, but he will have an uphill climb in doing so.
