MORGANTOWN, West Virginia — Moments ago, it was revealed that West Virginia forward Akok Akok has been cleared and is expected to play for the Mountaineers in tonight’s Backyard Brawl!
Akok, a 6’9 senior, averaged 6.5 points and 6.2 rebounds per game last season at Georgetown. He collapsed on court during an exhibition game against George Mason earlier this year and thus will be his first playing time since that scare moment on the WVU Coliseum court.
