Garrett Greene Wants Talented Receiver From Portal

Morgantown, WV – It’s no secret that WVU struggled at the wide receiver position in 2023. Head Coach Neal Brown will almost certainly utilize the transfer portal to fill this need in the offseason.

North Texas Receiver Ja’Mori Maclin has garnered an offer from the Mountaineers through the portal. The talented relative of former Eagles Receiver Jeremy Maclin tallied 57 catches for 1,004 yards and 11 touchdowns in 2023.

WVU Quarterback Garrett Greene indicated that he was interested in Maclin joining the Mountaineers through a post on X this afternoon.

If Greene wants him, surely Maclin can be persuaded to wear the Old Gold and Blue next fall.

Can the Mountaineers land Maclin? Only time will tell. Stay tuned to The Voice of Motown for updates.
