Pitt Fans Mock Bob Huggins at the WVU Coliseum

MORGANTOWN, West Virginia — The West Virginia Mountaineers “welcome” their hated rival, the Pitt Panthers, inside the WVU Coliseum tonight for the basketball version of the Backyard Brawl.

Approximately 50 Pitt fans made their way South to attend the game and to support the Panthers. These Pitt fans decided to take shots at forrmer West Virginia head coach Bob Huggins, who was arrested for DUI and forced to resign from the university.

Huggins, 70, was arrested in Pittsburgh and reoportedly informed one of the police officers that he thoguht he was somewhere in Ohio. Pitt fans, of course, took aim at Huggins’ arrest, with one fan holding up a sign that read, “Unlike Bob, we had a driver to get here!” Another read, “Recycle Your Cans”, a commentary on Huggins’ assertion that the reason he had empty cans in his car at the time of his arrest was because he likes to recycle cans.
