Mountaineers Land Talented Forward

Morgantown, West Virginia – Moments ago, West Virginia landed 6’7 power forward Josiah Harris from Cleveland, Ohio!

Harris, a 3 star recruit, chose the Mountaineers over Ohio State!  Harris averaged 20.2 points, 11.8 rebounds and 1.2 blocks per game last season at Richmond Heights High School.

Ranked as the No. 40 power forward in the Class of 2022 by 247Sports.com, Harris was offered by Florida State, Ohio State, Michigan, Louisville, Virginia Tech, Kansas State, West Virginia, Vanderbilt, Georgia Tech, Penn State, Texas A&M, Illinois, Cincinnati, Purdue and Georgetown, among others.

Harris said the following about his game: “I can defend the one through five on defense.  I can shoot the ball very well, so spacing out the floor wouldn’t be a problem. I can play multiple positions on offense, and I really think I’m a mismatch problem.”

Welcome Home, Josiah!
