Morgantown, West Virginia – This morning, ESPN’s College Gameday had a segment on their show today called “Who is the most famous person in your contact list?” Several college head coaches and players were interviewed and asked, “Who is the most famous person in your contact list on your phone?”
Michigan State’s head coach Mel Tucker said, “Magic Johnson.” Texas’ star running back Bijan Robinson said, “Matthew McConaughey.” Minnesota’s head coach PJ Fleck said, “John Legend” and then actually called him and talked to him on the phone.
But the most surprising was West Virginia head coach Neal Brown, who shockingly said that he has a very famous rap artist as a contact in his phone.
“Yeah, I know Jay-Z,” Brown said. “He’s a friend of a friend.”
That’s a connection that no one would have expected!
