MORGANTOWN, West Virginia — Last night, the West Virginia Mountaineers dropped a game on the road at Norman, Oklahoma to the #15 ranked Oklahoma Sooners, 77-63, to move to 6-11 on the season.
Following the game, Oklahoma fans decided to disrespect the Mountaineers’ long tradition of singing John Denver’s “Take Me Home, Country Roads.” This, of course, unleashed a firestorm of West Virginia fans responding on social media to the perceived slight.
