Pat McAfee Doesn’t Love Garrett Greene Being Compared to Pat White

MORGANTOWN, West Virginia — On today’s Pat McAfee Show, former West Virginia kicker/punter Pat McAfee discussed the Mountaineers’ big game today against North Carolina in the Duke’s Mayo Bowl.

McAfee took time to remember the last time that the Mountaineers played North Carolina in a bowl game in Charlotte, North Carolina in 2008 in the Meineke Car Care Bowl. West Virginia won that game by a score of 31-30 on a game-winning extra point by McAfee.

McAfee went on to say that he “didn’t love” the video that the official West Virginia football social media team put out recently called “Deja Vu” in which Garrett Greene is seemingly compared to West Virginia legend Pat White, who was also featured in the video.

“Yeah, they (WVU Football) put a video together, and…I don’t know how I feel about it. They basically said it was deja vu, and they had Pat White highlights, and then they were cutting it to Garrett Greene highlights. I did not love it.”
