MORGANTOWN, West Virginia — If Neal Brown loses to the Pitt Panthers in the Backyard Brawl tonight, he could be out as the head coach of the Mountaineers, according to former West Virginia punter/kicker turned media personality Pat McAfee.
McAfee, who is now a host on ESPN’s College Gameday, said, “You talk about urgency, we’re 5 years into this thing. We were trusting the climb and then you see that the climb is going down, and if he loses today, he’s out is what they’re saying in West Virginia. I don’t like to fire people on TV, but like, it’s time for us to start seeing results in Morgantown!”
