West Virginia Player Collapses on Court

MORGANTOWN, West Virginia — Moments ago, West Virginia starting forward Akok Akok collapsed on the court while returning to the bench. Akok, a transfer from Georgetown, fell to the floor and emergency personnel attended to him. Akok attempted to get up but was unable to. A stretcher was brought out on the court and Akok was taken off the court.

The WVU Coliseum remained eerily quiet for several minutes and the Mountaineers were losing to George Mason 53-48 at the time of the incident. Stay tuned to The Voice of Morgantown for more updates on this developing situation as they become available!

Please say a prayer for Akok Akok!
