Winston Wright is No Longer On Florida State’s Roster

Former WVU Receiver Winston Wright Jr. is no longer on Florida State’s roster.

Tallahassee, FL – Winston Wright Jr. hasn’t had the smoothest of collegiate careers. After getting off to a promising start in Morgantown, the Georgia native left the Mountaineers for Florida State prior to the 2022 season.

Before he could find his footing with the Seminoles, Wright was involved in a car accident in the spring of 2022 that would sideline him for the entire season. After a speedy and healthy recovery, he made his way back to the football field and had played in all five of Florida State’s games up to this point in 2023.

Well, it now appears that his time in Tallahassee has come to an end.

According to Noles247, Wright is no longer on Florida State’s roster. This has since been confirmed with his removal from the roster on the team’s official site.

After tallying over 600 yards and 5 touchdowns in 2021, Winston Wright Jr. will finish his Florida State career with 4 receptions for 36 yards.
