WVU Adds 2024 In-State Defensive End

MORGANTOWN, WV – Neal Brown and the Mountaineers continue to add to an already impressive 2024 recruiting class. Moments ago, Quintin Goins, a defensive end prospect out of Jefferson High School in West Virginia, committed to WVU.

Goins, despite not possessing a star rating from any major recruiting outlet, impressed West Virginia. He left camp WVU’s camp last summer with the Most Valuable Player award for the program.

During his senior season with Jefferson, he tallied 67 tackles and 8 sacks. Goins has been offered by Sacred Heart University at the FCS level, and West Liberty, Fairmont State, and Frostburg State of the Division II level.
