The nation is beginning to notice the West Virginia Mountaineers.
Morgantown, WV – After a 24-21 win over TCU, the West Virginia Mountaineers have been named one of the “top performing teams of week 5” by ESPN Analyst Kirk Herbstreit.

Herbstreit, who picked TCU to win during College Gameday, has been adamant on picking against the Mountaineers. The main reason behind his opposition of WVU is his co-analyst on College Gameday, Pat McAfee.
McAfee, who played at WVU, wasn’t shy to let Herbstreit know about his previous stance this evening on Twitter.

WVU is currently 4-1 and 2-0 in Big 12 play. They have a bye week this Saturday before a Thursday night tangle with Houston on October 12th.
