WVU Should Relocate Visiting Fans

Visiting fans should be relocated at Milan Puskar Stadium.

Morgantown, WV – When it comes to seating location, fans from opposing teams visiting Morgantown are given a great view of the game. Being placed in three sections at the southeast corner of Milan Puskar Stadium, it also provides them a convenient entrance and exit to the stadium.

This is vastly different from what schools all around the nation do with their visiting fans. Institutions like Pitt, Maryland, and even Penn State place their fans in less than ideal positions to watch the game.

According to one WVU fan, the Mountaineers should also take the same approach for fans coming from all over the Big 12.

The Twitter account WVU Extremist believes that West Virginia should place visiting fans in section 222, the far end of the upper bowl on the home side. This would open up the three sections currently held by visiting fans in the lower bowl, giving more Mountaineers the opportunity to attend the game.

Since many Big 12 fans do not make the trip to Morgantown, giving visitors less options for seating would ultimately result in more WVU fans making the trip to Morgantown. This would also return the not-so-great favor of poor seating divided by many of WVU’s rival schools.
