NCAA officially approves giving additional year of eligibility to all winter sport athletes, sources told @Stadium

According to Brett McMurphy of Stadium, the NCAA has officially granted winter sport athletes an additional year of eligibility. The same was recently done for fall sport athletes after their year had been so greatly affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
This additional year of eligibility most notably includes the Mountaineers Men’s and Women’s Basketball teams.
