Drake Maye Makes Decision on Mayo Bowl

Chapel Hill, NC – After weeks of speculation, we now have an answer as to whether North Carolina Quarterback Drake Maye will play in the Duke’s Mayo Bowl on December 27th.

Moments ago, Maye announced that he will opt out of the bowl game, leave North Carolina, and enter the 2024 NFL Draft.

Maye will leave UNC with a 17-9 record as the starting quarterback for the Tar Heels.

WVU and North Carolina kick off at 5:30 on ESPN.
