Morgantown, WV – Country music star Charles Wesley Godwin was in Morgantown this weekend for a four-night residency at the Metropolitan Theatre. Throughout those four nights, fans were greeted with many different surprises. However, none have been as big as what fans were shown on Sunday night.
According to multiple sources on X, WVU’s uniforms for the Duke’s Mayo Bowl were revealed to the crowd by Quarterback Garrett Greene. West Virginia will be wearing their home version of the “Country Roads” uniform for their battle with the North Carolina Tar Heels.

The Mountaineers wore these uniforms in the Backyard Brawl earlier in the year. They currently sit with a 1-0 record in this version of the “Country Roads” lineup after knocking off the Panthers 17-6.
WVU and North Carolina kickoff at 5:30 on December 27th. The game is set to broadcast on ESPN.
