WVU Forward Jesse Edwards was recognized as one of the best defenders in College Basketball.
Morgantown, WV – Earlier today, College Basketball Report on Twitter revealed their top 25 defenders for the 2023-24 season. Syracuse Orangeman turned West Virginia Mountaineer, Jesse Edwards, was included on the list.

Edwards comes to WVU after averaging 14.5 points, 10.3 rebounds, and 2.7 blocks per game in 2022-23. In a transfer class that is considered one of the best in the nation for WVU, Edwards was tied with Kerr Kriisa as being the highest rated player, according to On3.
