Morgantown FLOODED

Morgantown, West Virginia – Severe thunderstorms in Morgantown, West Virginia have left major roads in the city flooded.  A severe thunderstorm watch remains in effect until 7:00PM after Morgantown has been pounded with heavy downpours throughout the day.

Patteson Drive between the West Virginia Coliseum and University Avenue is flooded in several areas, making it difficult for vehicles to safely pass.

According to the Weather Channel, rain is expected to end this evening with only a 20% chance of precipitation for the remainder of the day.
