Mountaineers Fall at Home to BYU

MORGANTOWN, West Virginia — The West Virginia Mountaineers battled back from 19 points down to make it a close game late in the 2nd half, but ultimately fell to the #22 ranked BYU Cougars 86-73 inside the WVU Coliseum.

West Virginia was led by point guard Kerr Kriisa, who finished the game with 23 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists. RaeQuan Battle had 14 points and 4 rebounds, and Jesse Edwards finished with 13 points and 7 rebounds. Josiah Harris added 8 points and 6 rebounds off the bench.

PLAY OF THE GAME:

The Mountaineers, who are now 8-14 on the season, will have a week off before traveling to play the Texas Longhorns (15-7) in Austin, Texas next Saturday, February 10th at 3:00PM.
