Oscar Tshiebwe Makes Huge Decision

Morgantown, West Virginia – Moments ago, former West Virginia forward Oscar Tshiebwe announced what he will do with his future.

Tshiebwe, who won the National Player of the Year Award two years ago and averaged 16.5 points and 13.7 rebounds per game for the Kentucky Wildcats last season, will remain in the 2023 NBA Draft, thus ending his collegiate career.

Tshiebwe had previously entered the draft while maintaining the ability to return to Kentucky for one more year. However, he is clearly comfortable with his draft position and will remain in the draft.

Although Tshiebwe has been wildly successful in college, his lack of shooting ability and size has led many to believe whether his game will translate at the next level or not.
