
The Mountaineers are set to take on 7th-ranked Penn State this Saturday night.
Morgantown, WV – When West Virginia travels to Happy Valley this Saturday, they will be participating in their biggest road game since the 2018 season.
The last time the Mountaineers played a ranked opponent in front of a crowd of more than 100,000 was on November 3, 2018. A game that many WVU fans remember as one of the best in the program’s history.

That day, the Mountaineers took down the 17-ranked Texas Longhorns by a final score of 42-41, on Will Grier’s two-point conversion with only seconds left.
Can West Virginia repeat history when they take the field against the Nittany Lions this Saturday? Only time will tell.
