The Mountaineers have lost their latest Backyard Brawl on the recruiting trail.
Morgantown, WV – Moments ago, Pennsylvania linebacker Cameron Lindsey, who was a top target for the Mountaineers, committed to play for the Pitt Panthers.
Lindsey, who is a 247Sports three-star prospect, currently holds 15 offers. Penn State, Maryland, and Syracuse were also among the schools who openly recruited him.
The Voice of Motown was made aware of Lindsey’s decision prior to his announcement. Mountaineer Paul, a WVU-based YouTube personality, was the one to break the news to us.
According to rumors, the Mountaineers are expecting several commitments in the coming days.
