The Mountaineers will head into their matchup with Penn State as three touchdown underdogs.
Morgantown, WV – As expected, the Mountaineers will be heading into their Saturday night matchup with Penn State with virtually all odds against them. While many outlets have expected this game to he decided by a large margin, the spreads that are being released for the game prove just how little the national media thinks of WVU.
According to On3, West Virginia will be a 20.5-point underdog against the Nittany Lions, who will be playing with first-time starting quarterback Drew Allar. It will be WVU’s first trip to Happy Valley since 1991, a game in which they lost 51-6.
The Mountaineers and Penn State kickoff at 7:30 on NBC.
