Nicco Marchiol Will Be at Guaranteed Rate Bowl

Morgantown, West Virginia – Today, the West Virginia Mountaineers football team practiced in Arizona for the Guaranteed Rate Bowl against the Minnesota Gophers.

High school senior sensation and future West Virginia quarterback Nicco Marchiol, who played at Hamilton High School in Chandler, Arizona, this past season, was in attendance for the Mountaineers’ practice and announced that he would be at the bowl game on Tuesday night.

“I’m excited to be at practice and can’t wait to be a part of the team soon,” Marchiol said in a video posted on West Virginia Football’s official social media accounts.

”Excited to check out the game while I’m out here. I brought the fam(ily) and can’t wait to get to Morgantown!”

Marchiol, perhaps West Virginia’s most highly-anticipated recruit ever, has enrolled early at WVU and will start school in January when classes resume.
