The Mountaineer Football team has a tough slate ahead in 2023.

Morgantown, WV – Neal Brown and the Mountaineers are in preparation for a tough schedule in 2023. After opening up on the road at Penn State, things do not get any easier as they will have to take on Pitt, Texas Tech, and 2022 national runner-up TCU in the follow weeks.

Earlier today, Pro Football Focus revealed their top 10 teams with the toughest schedules. As one could expect, West Virginia found themselves high on the list – finishing with the 3rd toughest slate in all of College Football.

Fellow Big 12 members Houston, Iowa State, and Kansas State were also featured on the list at 7, 8, and 10, respectively.

WVU opens up their 2023 season in exactly 7 weeks from today. Kickoff for their season opener at Penn State is slated for 7:30 on NBC.
