Morgantown, WV – Moments ago, the West Virginia Mountaineers landed their second commitment of the transfer portal window. After losing multiple defensive players to the portal, help is now on the way for a unit that has the potential to be one of the best in the Big 12.
Louisville Safety Josh Minkins has announced that he will be transferring to WVU, via social media.

Minkins, who will have one year of eligibility remaining, was a 247Sports three-star prospect in the 2020 class. In four seasons with the Cardinals, he tallied 99 tackles, 3 pass deflections, 1 sack, and 1 interception.
He joins Duquesne’s Ayden Garnes as portal additions in WVU’s 2024 class.
